Alexander Alexandrovich Ustinov

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in 1951-1953.

In 1928 he has graduated from the Gorky Art Technical School, and in 1934 – the Moscow Architectural Institute on speciality of “Planning of cities and settlements”. He worked at the Institute “Gorstroyproject” and the workshop № 2 of Planning Section, Architectural and Planning Department of Moscow Council.

From the first days of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) he was in the army in the field. In 1947 after completion of his postgraduate course in the Moscow Architectural Institute, he worked at the Architecture Department of Moscow City Executive Committee, and then headed up the workshop №1 of the Institute Moscow City Master Plan and architectural-planning workshop for the Southeastern sector.

In 1950 he was offered to place himself at the head of architectural-planning workshops at the Architecture Department of Moscow City Executive Committee.

From the moment of establishment of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan in June 1951 he was appointed to the position of Director of this institution.

 

Nikolay Fedorovich Evstratov

In 1929 he has graduated from workers’ faculty of arts of the Higher Art Technical School, and in 1934 – the Moscow Architectural Institute and was qualified as “architect-town-planner” (Planning of cities and settlements).

Since 1935 he worked in the system of architectural and planning workshops of Moscow Council, in 1936 he was appointed as Deputy District architect in Oktyabrsky district of Moscow.

From 1938 to 1941 he held office of Architect in Tagansky district.

In 1941-1945 he battled on the Great Patriotic War fronts.

In 1947-1949 he headed the architectural-planning workshop №5.

During the period from 1949 to 1953 he worked as head of the urban land department.

Since 1953 he is Director of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan.

 

Sergey Dmitrievich Misharin

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in 1967-1983

Director of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan in 1967-1983

In 1941 he has graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute on speciality of “Planning of cities and settlements”. He is the veteran of the Great Patriotic War.

Since 1946 he worked as an architect in architectural-planning workshop at the Architecture Department of Moscow City Executive Committee.

In 1951 he became Chief Project Architect in the workshop №3 of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan, since 1953 he led the workshop №6 for the Southeastern sector, since 1955 - the city detailed layout workshop №2 of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan.

During the period from 1961 to 1967 he worked as the chief of the Department of regulation and land allotment of the Central Architectural and Planning Department.

In 1967 he headed the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan.

 

Valentine Ivanovich Ivanov

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in 1983—1988 

In 1956 he has graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, in 1968 – completed the correspondence postgraduate course of the Moscow Architectural Institute on speciality of “Town-planning and landscape architecture”.

From 1957 to 1961 he worked in the city landscape gardening workshop №4 of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan, from 1961 to 1970 - in the same workshop as a part of the Institute of designing of improvement and landscape gardening (now “Mosproject-3”) organized in the system of Central Architectural and Planning Department.

Since 1963 he was Chief project architect of the workshop №4 and in October 1970 was appointed head of the workshop №3 specialized on detailed planning of forest and park protection belt, gardening, recreation and sports, the Institute of Genplan Institute of Moscow.

In 1983 he became Director of this institution.

 

Rostislav Vasilyevich Gorbanyov

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in 1988—1998 

In 1962 has graduated from the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute, in 1968 - completed correspondence postgraduate course of this Institute.

In 1971 he obtained a degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

In 1962-1998 he worked in the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan.

In 1971 he became Chief engineer of the workshop №5, in 1971 – Head of Scientific section of transport and roads.

In 1978 he was appointed Chief engineer oGenplan Institute of Moscow.

In 1988 he headed this establishment.

Vladimir Prokhorovich Korotayev

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in 1998—2004 

In 1976 he has graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute with honours. He began his working activity in Advanced research department of the scientific part of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan.

In 1979 he became the leader of architect group, then – senior architect of the Department of “Mosproject-1”.

From 1988 to 1992 he led the territorial workshop of the Eastern sector. In 1992-1996 he held office of General Director of Joint-Stock Company “Project firm “Grado”.

Since 1997 he was chief of the design territorial workshop of the Eastern and Southeastern okrugs as a part of Genplan Institute of Moscow.

In 1998 he was appointed Director of this institution.

 

Sergey Borisovich Tkachenko

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in  2004—2011

After graduation from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1976, he worked in Y.B. Belopolsky’s workshop, “Mosproject-1”, since 1980 - in the Department of “Mosproject-2”.

During the period from 1984 to 1989 he held responsible posts in the Council of Ministers of the USSR.

In 1989 he returned to the Department “Mosproject-2”, and from 1991 to 1998 he led its workshop.

From 1998 to 2003 he held posts of the head of the workshop and Deputy Director of Moscow Scientific and Research Institute “Mosproject-4”.

Since 2003 he headed the experimental design workshop  oGenplan Institute of Moscow.

In 2004 he became Director of this institution.

 

Ernst Filsurovich Mavlyutov

Director of Genplan Institute of Moscow in  2011—2013 

In 1986 he has graduated from Kazan Engineering and Construction Institute on speciality of “Architecture”, in 1995 – the Volzhskaya State Service Academy on speciality of “State and Municipal Management”. After graduation from the Kazan Engineering and Construction Institute he led the Construction and Architecture Department of Executive committee of Mamadyshsky District Council of People's Deputies of Tatar АSSR.

From 1986 to 1992 he was Chief architect of Mamadyshsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 1993-1996 he worked as Deputy Head of Mamadyshsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 1996 he was appointed Chief architect in Aviastroitelny district of Kazan city.

Since 2000 he acted as Deputy Head of Administration of Vakhitovsky district of Kazan city in respect of the architecture and construction.

During the period from 2005 to 2009 he held offices of Chief architect and Head of Architecture and Town-planning Department of Kazan; from 2009 to 2011 - offices of First Deputy General Director and Chief architect of Open Joint-Stock Company “Institute “Kazgrazhdanproject”.

In 2011 he headed Genplan Institute of Moscow.

 

Karima Robertovna Nigmatulina

Acting director of Genplan Institute of Moscow from 2013

In 2005 she has graduated from Princeton University with honours. She is an expert in the field of operations research (the applied mathematics) and financial engineering (BSE degree), international and domestic policy.

In 2009 she obtained Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Doctor degree in the field of operational research.

She also is an expert in consulting, bank and research spheres.

In 2009 in Bellvue (Washington, USA) she founded the project for elaboration of mathematical and computer models, software for ministries of health and led it till 2012.

Since 2012 she became Deputy Director of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan, Head of Scientific and Production Association “Economic and mathematical modelling of Moscow agglomeration”.

In 2012 she was appointed to the position of First Deputy Director of the Institute of Moscow City Master Plan. Since 2013 she acts as Director of this institution.
